Yes. Full intellectual property transfers to you on final payment, including repositories, infrastructure definitions and design files. There is no proprietary Cortex runtime you would be locked into, and nothing in the stack requires an ongoing licence from us.

For content-only brochure sites, a traditional CMS is often the right call and we will tell you so. Next.js earns its place when you need application logic, personalisation, or a shared component system across several properties. It gives you server rendering for SEO and edge caching for speed in the same codebase.

We set a performance budget during architecture and enforce it in CI, so a pull request that regresses LCP or bundle size fails the build. After launch we monitor real-user field data rather than lab scores, because that is what search engines actually rank against.

That is our most common arrangement. We embed in your existing ceremonies, use your repository and review conventions, and pair deliberately so knowledge transfers as we go rather than in a handover document at the end.

You choose. Some clients take the codebase in-house immediately; others retain us on a support retainer covering dependency upgrades, security patching, uptime monitoring and a monthly improvement budget. Both paths are priced transparently before the build starts.
