◆ Software engineering, AI & cloud since 2016

We build software that
works on day one, and still works in year three.

Cortex Web Studios is a digital engineering studio. We build web platforms, mobile apps, SaaS products and AI systems for companies in healthcare, finance, construction and education — delivered from nine offices worldwide.

The problem

Most software projects fail slowly, not suddenly

They are sold by people who will never have to build them. By the time the gap between the pitch and the product is obvious, the budget is gone. Here is what that looks like, and what we do instead.

What usually happens
  • A salesperson agrees the scope, then hands it to a team who never heard the promise.
  • Senior names appear in the pitch. Junior developers write the code.
  • Compliance and security get looked at near the end, when fixing them is expensive.
  • You see a status report every week, but never working software.
  • At handover you get a login and a link, and your team is left to work it out.
How we work
  • The architect who scopes your project is accountable for delivering it.
  • Senior engineers do the building. Our margin is lower and our rework is near zero.
  • Security and compliance are decided in the first architecture session.
  • Every two weeks you get working software you can click through yourself.
  • Handover is a planned stage with training, documents and time to ask questions.
What we do

Ten services. One team. One person accountable.

You do not need one agency for design, another for development and a third for marketing. Everything below sits under one roof, led by the architect who scoped your project.

Not sure which services you need?

Most projects use three or four of these together. Tell us the outcome you are after and we will map the shortest route to it — including when that means fewer services than you expected.

You will speak to Adnan, our CTONot a sales rep. He scopes the work and stays on the project.
Who we help

Four industries we know inside out

Knowing an industry means knowing which rules can bend and which will fail an audit. Browse the four sectors where we have built that knowledge deeply enough to be genuinely useful.

How we deliver

Nine offices working as one team

Global delivery only helps if it is organised properly. Here is exactly how ours works, what you get locally, and why a project never waits on a single time zone.

Work continues overnight

Our teams sit in four time zones. Work handed over at the end of your day is picked up by another office, so progress carries on while you sleep.

A local team, not a call centre

Each office contracts in local currency and works local hours. You get a named architect in your own time zone, not a ticket queue in another one.

Your data stays where the law requires

We host inside your region when rules demand it, including the Gulf, the EU and the UK, and we can show the paperwork that proves it.

One standard everywhere

The same architects, code reviews and security checks apply in every office. Where the work happens never changes the quality you receive.

Why teams choose us

Four reasons clients stay for years

We would rather be right than agreeable. These are the commitments we are willing to lose work over.

01

You own everything

Code, designs, servers and documents all become yours. Nothing we build locks you in, so staying with us is always your choice rather than a technical necessity.

02

We will tell you not to build

We have advised clients to buy off-the-shelf software, delay a rebuild, and stop paying for a marketing channel we ran. Honest advice keeps clients for a decade.

03

Senior people do the work

The engineers on your project are the ones named in the proposal. We earn less per hour this way, and we almost never have to rebuild something twice.

04

Every claim is measurable

We record where you are starting from before we begin. That way any improvement we report can be checked, rather than taken on trust.

What our clients say

Reviews collected independently from named client contacts after project completion.

The replatform paid for itself in the first quarter. What I did not expect was how much faster our own engineers started shipping once the architecture stopped fighting them.

Marcus ElleryVP Engineering, industrial marketplace

They told us to cut a third of our ad spend. Pipeline went up the following month. That conversation changed how we budget for growth entirely.

Priya RaghunathanChief Marketing Officer, B2B SaaS

Our crews stopped carrying paper. Job closeout went from next-day to before they leave the site, and the margin recovery on change orders alone justified the build.

Khalid Al-MansooriChief Operating Officer, field services

Claims intake used to be twelve people reading PDFs. Now it is two people handling exceptions, and accuracy went up rather than down.

Layla HaddadHead of Claims Operations, insurance group

We deploy forty times a week now. Two years ago it was a scheduled event with a rollback plan and a prayer. The cultural change was bigger than the technical one.

Tomas LindqvistVP Platform Engineering, fintech

Support tickets asking 'how do I' dropped by two thirds after the redesign. That was the entire business case, and they hit it in twelve weeks.

Anita ChowdhuryDirector of Product, logistics platform

Eleven regional systems became one. We close the month in two days instead of three weeks, and I finally trust the numbers I present to the board.

Robert NkemeluGroup CIO, logistics

The rebrand was the reason our Series A deck got read. Investors told us it looked like a company twice our size, which was exactly the point.

Sara BenaliCo-founder, proptech platform

They recommended we buy rather than build for two of the three systems we asked about. That honesty is why we gave them the third one.

Based on real projects No email needed Fixed quote after discovery

What do you need built?

Pick the main part of the project. If you need several, choose the biggest one and we will cover the rest on the call.

Which industry are you in?

Regulated industries need extra security and audit work. That is real effort, so we include it in the estimate rather than surprising you later.

How much do you want to build first?

This changes the price more than anything else. A small first version that does one job well beats a large one that does five jobs badly.

Common questions

Answers before you ask

The questions we get most often, answered plainly. If yours is not here, ask us directly and you will get a straight reply.

We design and build software. That covers websites and web apps, mobile apps for iPhone and Android, SaaS products, AI tools and automation, cloud setup, product design, and marketing that brings in customers. Most clients use us for three or four of these at once, run by one lead architect so nothing falls between the gaps.

A focused first version usually starts around $35,000. A full product with integrations and a proper design system is typically $90,000 to $190,000. Large multi-system programmes run higher. You can get an indicative range in about thirty seconds using the estimator on this page, without giving us your details first.

Six to eight weeks for a first version that real customers can use. Twelve to twenty-four weeks for a complete product. We work in two-week cycles and show you working software at the end of each one, so you always know where the project stands.

We specialise in four: healthcare, financial services, construction and property, and education. These are regulated fields where the rules shape the software itself. We also take on work outside these areas when the problem fits our skills.

We have nine offices across North America, Europe, the Middle East and South Asia. Most engineering happens in our Pakistan hubs, led by an architect who works in your time zone. Because our teams span four regions, work continues after your office closes.

You do. Every line of code, every design file, every server configuration and all documentation becomes yours when the project is paid for. We do not build anything that locks you into us, and you can move to another team at any point.

Yes, and we often do. We can join your existing sprints, use your code repository and follow your review process. Connecting to older systems is normal for us: we plan that work openly rather than discovering it halfway through.

Your choice. Some clients take the code in-house straight away. Others keep us on a support plan covering security updates, monitoring, on-call cover and ongoing improvements. We price both options before the build starts, so there is no surprise at the end.
